SHaRM members together with Cyrille Mainguy and Ratua Foundation applied to the Lodge of Discovery Vanuatu to assist with funding for a new library and media room. This project was approved by the Lodge via donations received from overseas. The building was completed by the Lodge of Discovery and was handed over to Suango School in October 2015.
Following the handover of the building on 13 October, SHaRM members have been busy organising books and media equipment installation. The French library books were supplied via Ratua Foundation. SHaRM worked with NZ donor Byond Disaster Relief New Zealand and their generous donation of media equipment is now being installed. 2016 will ensure all children at Suango will be provided with media studies and tuition as well as accessing learning tools provided via the Internet.
