SHaRM is always busy looking at new projects and we are focussing on the following project in 2020/2021 – a two classroom school building and a health clinic/dispensary on Maewo Island; and a project proposal to be formulated for a two classroom project on Pentecost Island.
Byond Disaster Relief NZ and SHaRM Foundation have been working together on projects in Vanuatu since Cyclone PAM. We are formulating ways to use donated items from New Zealand and circulate these donated school items such as reading books and school uniforms which have been received in August/September 2019 via this network. The first shipments have been sent to two schools at Narovorovo and Asanvari on Maewo Island who have never had school uniforms previously.
